I am so excited that her hair is getting long enough to do this with it:

they may be small piggies but hey...i love doing little girls hair (must be one of the reasons why i have two little girls hair to do but i need to find some cute styles)

Happy early 4th Birthday Adelynn

For most that know me know I am not always the best at keeping a secret once I pick out a gift I think someone will just love!  Well...we have the flu going around our house right now...started with me then to Adey.  Paisley was lucky enough to not get it.  So last night before Adey got sick I decided to give her one of her presents early so I could "rest"...

I think based on the pictures a "my little pony" tent was a perfect gift for this fan...she even put her pony stuffed animals in the tent with her...little does she know Nonni and Grampy got her a rainbow dash build a bear...I can't wait for her party now!

Lately in the evenings we have been having some great storms..I mean with wind and thunder and all.  Growing up in Arkansas I loved it when it stormed so when we get the occasional storm here I get so excited!  Brings back memories and all... So the girls and I ended up sitting on the deck just watching the storm and the rain and the girls kept trying to put their hands and feet in the rain until it got to windy it started blowing in our faces:

I anxiously await as my girls continue to grow older together and build their relationship I know they will always be so close and be the best of friends! "...Lean on me; when you're not strong and I'll be your friend; I'll help you carry on..."

outdated but better late than never

so I found some old pictures and wanted to share mainly because this is my journal of memories and I didn't want them forgotten:

a few weeks ago we went to the South Jordan Days parade...mainly to get free candy and see some cool floats.  We also were given Popsicles.

Early Birthday Adelynn....can't believe you will be 4 in three weeks...

I love your smiles, your hugs and kisses, your imagination, playing barbies/ponies/pet shops/babies, your creativity, your energy, your help with your sister, snuggles, how you always make me feel like i am going,  a great job, your accomplishments, your ability to not give up, your jokes, your help in the kitchen, your talents, your fashion sense, watching movies with you, painting our toes, reading books, making crafts, coloring, working on "homework", when you copy what i do (vacuum with your play vacuum, or mop/sweep with your little set), watching you grow, how easily you make friends, you are so beautiful and i am so blessed to have you in my life.  love you baby girl!
