behind on times...

Well the slow person I can be sometimes, I finally learned how to get pictures off my phone and onto my computer...so I am gonna play catch up with a few fun times we had but didn't know how to retrieve the pics:

So way back at the end of August me and the girls got to a REAL soccer game.  We had fun cheering, singing, learning the players names, and best of all watching our team win.  I don't remember who we played but that doesn't really matter:

At the beginning of September we met Adey and Paisleys cousins and Aunts at Trafalgar square in Lehi for some fun.  We have the pass of all passes so we can get in for free...free activities are always the best!  We did bumper boats, arcade games, glow bowling, and played in the play area:

I really loved her outfit

The end of September I finally (with the permission of her dad) took her to get something she has been begging me to do...just a late birthday present:

pink flowers

Normally while Adey is doing her gymnastics for 45 mins. twice a week Paisley and I go for a stroll...well it is getting colder so we took a short walk and then played in the car...this girl is all smiles like 99.9% of the time:

ready to drive?!  gosh they sure grow up way too fast...

1st day of our new life...

so yesterday was our first day of our new life...as of right now we are staying home every day and enjoying each others company, relaxing, regrouping, and figuring out our next chapter as we decided to finally close one that we have had for almost the past 3 years.  We enjoyed it and learned much about ourselves and our family but feel we made the right choice.  And with that being said...we finally joined the library for free and played at the preschool time they had, checked out books and a few movies, and then headed on over the playground near by (one we go to often).  the pictures explain how happy we are about our big life changing decision we made as of Tuesday morning:

star blocks are not just for building yet they are just so FUN

Paisley says....CHEESE...

Adey really loves puzzles and this one was big and a little more challenging but she still had fun.  Paisley kept trying to sit on it while we put it together

ball toss...both my girls loved to play with this

I love how these glowed...Paisley was just fascinated with how they felt.  I wonder where I can find some for us to play with around the house?!

I taught Adey that this is a tambourine and how to play one..when we were done of course she had to be silly

look at the awesome playground we went to play at...a favorite of ours we go to often!  and today was a perfect day to play

patiently waiting for Adey to come out of the slide

coming out of the slide

had fun swinging side by side.  Adey loved that big chair...Paisley still is unsure of swinging

all aboard the choo choo train...all aboard the choo choo train

big sissy rocking her lil sissy on the horse...they are great best buds and just melts my heart!  love one lucky mom

she loved crawling through the tubes

Adey was jumping on this bridge thing and Paisley was rolling all around laughing so hard and of course there is my beautiful shadow!

This is what Adey picked from the library...i love that the two movies are holidays that are a little off with it being close to Halloween.  Gotta let them make choices for themselves.  just puts a smile on my face

Chuck e cheese is place where a kid can be a kid...

last week me and the girls, I think it was Friday, I had a coupon and we went to play.  I secretly hid about half the tokens so we could go back again another day and not have to spend any money.  I think I am gonna do this more often because I am all about budgeting and in the long run it is cheaper for us!

I know it isn't the best idea...but this little girl loves any drink she can have in a cup with a straw like this...which normally is soda...i know not good for her teeth (but it hardly happens...its more of a treat)

this is my life and I couldn't be more happier with these two princesses and all the joy they bring

what can you make with play-dough?!

a few days ago while I was finishing up Paisley's bath Adey had asked if we could paint and I told her in a minute.  Well after I got Paisley all dried, lotioned, dressed, and ready for bed...we come out to Adey happily playing with her play dough ice cream set.  So what do I do?  Well Paisley and I jumped in on the fun...I mean sure why not?!

and she didn't even try to eat...I think she licked it once but that was about it...Adey never ate so it is just nice to not have to go down that road

flattening it out

cookie cutter time...then she made a pie but I didn't get a picture of that

October 13...

On Sunday Adey really wanted to paint.  So we were thinking of some Halloween craft and this is what we came up with:

Adey painted her knuckles orange

placed them on the paper

and painted a green stem...all by her self

to create a pumpkin...now look ain't my kid creative?  so proud of her project she made all my herself (and lets just say she didn't want my help either...and we even worked on what happens when you mix red and yellow...she LOVES to learn)

yummy...fall type waffles

I was flipping through my waffle cook book this weekend and wanting to make something new.  I know I was being ambitious and came across buttermilk waffles with caramel sauce and whip cream.  So I made everything from scratch: the waffles, the caramel sauce, and yes even the whip cream.  These were a big hit in my house of which will be made many a times:

just pure delicious!

this is the caramel sauce

October 12...

So today was low key.  We walked on over to Gardner Village and danced to some music and looked at the Halloween lights and witches (wished I would have broughten my camera) and then headed to our favorite shop: Sweet Aftons...for some candy.  Then we walked home while eating our suckers.  It was a nice walk...a little cold but nice.

When we got home it wasn't quite time for the girls to head to bed so we played and painted...here is what we painted:

We made one for all the grandparents and then for us and for my Nana...we will get them in the mail hopefully this week!  They were fun to make but not fun to get the paint off...tons of baby wipes and some soaking in the bath...
