So like maybe 2 weeks ago we went to the local fire department for a night learning about fire safety. It was a lot of fun and one of the captains took us around and we got to look at the different trucks and try on gear and watch a fireman come down the pole and got lots of free goodies and got taken through a "trailer" of what to do with fire safety and chemicals. Paisley was a little nervous and didn't want to do much but watch but she still had fun. Overall a great experience and we will definitely go back next year because fire safety is very important and maybe Nate won't have to work and can come with us!

Jaker's pumpkin patch
About 1.5 weeks ago we loaded up the van and went with Kimberly and Stephen and their kids on a family date to Jaker's pumpkin patch down in Springville (2 years in a row). It is priced so cheap ($1 each for everyone over the age of 3 and our family spent $4 on 2 decent size pumpkins for us to carve with the girls since lets face it the adults do most of the carving because our girls don't really care to pull out the yucky seeds and they aren't allowed to use the knives but they of course pick out the design and encourage us..its cute. which we still need to carve our pumpkins!)
They have hay barrels to climb, slides, hay ride, big corn pile to play in, 2 different size hay mazes, petting zoo, animals to ride, corn maze, fields to pick pumpkins from or piles to choose from took, and much much more. I love going and look forward to going again next year. Such a fun tradition we have started with our girls!

Conference weekend
About 3 weeks ago it was conference weekend (better late than never...hey life has gotten in the way) But we had Nate's sister Laura and her cute little family hang out with us...the girls painted nails and made home made little pizzas and the boys went to the priesthood session and out to ihop afterwards and we had a waffle breakfast the next morning before they headed out:
Then in between sessions on Sunday we had a yummy lunch and hung out (some of us watched the second session together at tina and roberts):
Then afterwards we headed up to temple square to walk around and enjoy the peaceful, beauty of the temple grounds and it was so nice walking around with family:
