Valentines with my loves

So this year Valentine's Day was on a Sunday and it was during Presidents' Day weekend and Adey has Monday off from school and Nate did some work from home so he wasn't gone all day the Monday after so we celebrated all weekend (Friday through Monday) our "extra special love" for each other. Adey and Paisley spent the weekend (Friday-Monday) with their Nana and Papa. I did get to go and help at Adeys school Valentines party. Then that night Nate and I ate BWW and went on a little late night drive. Then Saturday, Nate made a bet yummy egg breakfast and we took care of some errands and went out to lunch at Zachby's and then came home and put Emery down for a nap and watched a movie and then just hung out the rest of the day. He did give me a sweet gift to get an hour long massage and I am pretty excited about that! I am in the process of getting him a magic bullet so he can have healthy breakfasts at work. On Sunday we had waffles and made a roast beef together and went to church and then came home and put Emery down for a nap again and watched another movie and played with her when she woke up and relaxed. I made a fresh/frozen fruit dessert. On Monday the girls came home and we opened our box of love full of chocolate and flashlights and balloons and a family movie. We also all watched Adey at gymnastics and came home and ate dinner and giggled and had a great night! these 4 are my little loves and try mean everything to me!

Open house

Last Thursday we had Nate's parents over for dinner (they were in town visiting) and ate a super yummy white chicken chili. Afterwards we all go ready and headed on over to the beautiful, historical  re-built from the tabernacle to the Provo City Center Temple open house. I have never been before to a temple open house before its dedicated and it was just beautiful!! So much history and beautiful brown and arch ways...I LOVED it! We had fun experiencing it as a family with our girls and teaching them more about our beliefs. If you get a chance and live in Utah then I highly recommend to go!!

Bowling the gutters?!

On Friday night we met some friends of ours at jack and Jill's for a fun family date night and bowled 2 games of which some of those were free because of coupons! For the adults: None of got over 100 the first round and the second round none of us got below 90....so not too bad! The 4 kids bowled on the lane next to us with bumpers and the ball tower roller thing. We all had pizza and a great time!!

Music time

So the girls love when Dad plays the guitar. They always ask for a turn to play or hey want him to play while hey dance in their dress up clothes. It's really quite cute! Well the girls have recorders from Nonni and Grampy (we owe y'all big time 😉) but Adey is trying to figure out sounds and notes and doing quite well. Emery one day found the recorder and picked it up and started playing it and loves blowing in and out and Adey loves helping her:

Icky little ones

So this month of January 2016 has been fun filled with snow, sledding, games, hot chocolate, movies, and much more but on the down side it has also been full of sick little ones from a 24 hour flu to runny, yucky noses: I hope to be on the uphill from this since we have gone almost a week now of healthiness!

Pie in the face?!

So for this past Christmas, Nates brother Rob and his wife Tina, gave us a gift...PIE  FACE! It is such a fun game. You put whip cream on the plastic hand, spin the little wheel, put your face in the whole and twist the knobs as many times spun and to your surprise sometimes you get slapped with some whip cream and sometimes ya don't! If you have never played I recommend it cause we love it and it gives ya a good laugh!
