Meet #3

This past Saturday Adelynn competed in her 3rd meet as a bronze level gymnast.  This time it was held at her gym which was quite nice.  It was early in the morning and we hired a baby sitter this time so we could focus on her.  Since the last meet she has had two private lessons with this amazing coach of hers.  Well based on Adey's performances and her scores and placement...you can tell it really helped.  She has about 2 months until her last meet and so she will have 4-5 more privates with this same coach.  Can't wait to see how all her hard work pays off over these next few months at the final meet of season...the championships which will be held at her gym.  We are so proud of her and all her hard work!  You can tell she is more confident in herself and less nervous.  I love watching her and can't wait to see how to excels over the next several years...she is only 7 and doing amazing!!!

She got 6th on Vault 8.9
She got 4th on Bars 9.550
She got 5th on Beam 9.000
She got 3rd on Floor 9.350
She got 4th overall

Bug Fair

Every month Adelynn has to do a book report for school.  For the month of February they actually had more of a project.  They each randomly selected a paper out of a hat and Adelynn got caterpillar.  She had facts she had to answer and a poster to make and a figure which she made out of clay and painted and then used felt to add leaves and a branch for the caterpillar to eat from.  She worked hard and did a great job.  Then a few days later after they were due, they whole second grade put on a museum displaying all they have learned and their hard work.  Adey even made me and Nate and invitation to come to it and of course we did!

Doughnuts at Adey's school

For Dr. Seuss birthday every year Adey's school does a parents/siblings and doughnuts before school.  Of course we got and sugar our girls up for the day.  We always bring books to read too:
