Valentines

I have never been a big fan of Valentines day because every day we should express our love to those we are grateful to have in our lives.  I do however never give up an opportunity to buy a little something for my three special loves in my life (but I don't do all that candy stuff...I always like to get meaningful stuff)...this is our first of my many Valentines together:

Nate loves monsters (which I was nervous I would buy the wrong kind...he only drinks them every once in a while but now he has a little stock), peanuts, chewing a half piece of gum (it lasts so much longer), and educational movies...the caramello was just a little something sweet for his teeth

Paisley got a little bling (ring pops), cheetos, and some mini m&m's...and of course a little toy because right now she is big into baskets, purses, bags...anything she can put stuff in and carry it around.  We have had many little picnics already and they are fun with an almost 2 year old

Adey got a little bling too (ring pop), cheetos, m&m's, and she loves chewing gum...and her big thing right now is any thing crafty (paper, paint, beads, ribbon, stickers...anything)...so she got a bead set and has been busy away at making all kinds of bracelets for herself and her sister mainly but don't be surprised if you get a bracelet here soon crafted by the lovely Adelynn

I think in all my little Valentines and my man were all pleased and felt special this day as they should always feel!

As for me...Nate surprised us with some yummy BW (Buffalo Wild Wings...which is amongst my top 5 places to eat from...usually I don't like chains but this is an exception to that rule I have) for dinner which happened to be what I was really hoping for on this day of love , he rented us a few movies, and brought me some chocolate and beautiful flowers.

Calla lilies are my 2nd favorite flower after purple roses but he said he didn't see any that would work so he found a bouquet of purple in general...he did good!

Picnic...in doors...anyone?!

The other day Adey pulled in side her little pink table and chairs and brought out her stuffed animals and set them all up and cooked for them and fed them their meals and cleaned their dishes.  it was super cute!  and of course Paisley joined in and Adey called her Adey's lil helper:

build a bear

a little over a week ago we headed over to Build a Bear to spend our gift cards...yes we love this place and go OFTEN!  Adey got a pink kitty and a cute dress and Paisley got a pink elephant with a Valentines outfit...

the past two months...

random pictures from my phone:

We went bowling with Nate and some of his friends in Provo.  This was Paisley's first time and she had so much fun and kept saying ball, ball, ball...Adey had a lot of fun showing her sister how it was done.

Here is Adey at gymnastics...she has such talent and tries so hard!  Sad to have her take a short break until we move and get situated in our new home...hope she still enjoys it and has fun in her new gym:

Ball pit

We had some fun playing with balls and the ball pit...these girls are crazy and will go through whatever whole they can fit...it was so much fun and their giggles just melt my heart!

Anyone jealous yet that they don't get to play with these two beauties full of life and joy and every day?!  I am not because this is my every day life and I LOVE it

Monday family fun night

I love Monday night family fun night...this week we had a yummy dinner and puppy chow for dessert and then we played some Wii bowling...a family favorite for us.  but we do need to get some more games both for the Wii and board type to add to our collection for a variety for these wintery, cold nights of not being able to go outside.

water play

So...we live in Utah, it is the beginning of February, and although the sun may be shining...there is snow on the ground and it sure is cold.  So what should we do?!  Bring in our little water table, fill it with warm water, throw in some princesses and other toys, and go to town.  This is what we did on Monday morning:

While Paisley was sleeping Adey and I decided to get out her work books and do a little homework.  I love this work book and putting it in page protectors so we can use dry erase markers with it and do the pages over and over again!
