About a week and a half ago many of the Mihu Clan gathered up together at the head of the Mihu family (aka mom and dad Mihu) home up in Clifton, Idaho. There was our family, Rob/Tina/kids, Kimberly/kids (Stephen was at a work conference), Tammy/Ron/kids/grand-kid (for just Friday), Livia/Jeremy/kids, Barb/TJ/kid, Alicia/Ben/kid, Beverly/Aaron/kids, Jen/kids...it was so much fun! Next reunion we hope more can attend (hopefully in southern Utah with more to do). This reunion we played many games (cards, board games, checkers, mofia) and enjoyed each others company (nothing planned but to just relax and hang out). Some camped out side and some camped inside. We had lots of fire roasting. Some stayed all weekend while some left early. We had bubbles for the little ones outside and lots of animal imaginations going on in the living room. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did and thanks for all the help with the cooking, cleaning, and entertaining! This family is so amazing and I feel so grateful to be a part!

Emery...little petite 2 months
before her checkup
getting her oral shot
yes you see that right...three covered needle shots in the backround and this girl is happy right because she has no idea that those are about to get poked in her thighs...aw poor baby!
2 MONTHS NEW...
8 lbs 10 ounces
20.5 inches long
*wearing newborn to size 3 month clothes, newborn shoes, headbands still too big so mommy ties a knot to make them fit, and size1 diapers (about 6 to 8 a day)
* She coo's, grabs hair, holds fingers, working on holding toys, smiles, has an awake period from about 5 pm until 10/1030 pm and then sleeps through the night until about 630/730 am.
*favorites: nursing, being held, bath time (until she gets out and is not wrapped in her blanket and then when we unwrap her to put some yummy smelling lotion on her), being worn in the front carrier, being outside, going for walks, being read to, her sisters (most of the time), snuggling, being swaddled, playing with her tongue, and chewing on her hands!
water days...back to back
Last week we went to Alpine Splash pad and invited Abby (the girls cousins). We also had a picnic and it was just enjoyable to just relax in the beautiful sun (not too hot but we definitely needed some sun screen). The water was a little chilly but it was nice that there was two parks right there. We plan to go back for sure!
The next day we went to 7 peaks with our neighbor Kylee and her little boy. We have season passes and plan to be there a ton this summer! And surprisingly it wasn't too crowded (we mainly just hung out in the kid pool that was 2.5 feet all around with slides and things to climb on...we tried to go to the wave pool but someone had gotten sick in it so they were draining the water and cleaning it and filling it back up again and we didn't go to the little kiddy one with all the splashing and and water falling from their toys...maybe next time). It was fun and yes we did get sun burnt even with sun screen on...

Doughnut Day
So with summer means lots of relaxation and letting things go and less of a routine and laughter and fun and memories! One morning I woke up (before the girls because right now they are actually sleeping in until 830 or even 9...bedtime got pushed back just a little to 8 for Paisley and 830ish for Adey...so not by much but because we are already playing hard they sleep better and longer and we LOVE it)...anyway back to my train of thought. I woke up thinking what would be fun to do this morning...lets go get doughnuts, chocolate milk/strawberry for Adey, fruit, and have a little picnic on our front lawn. Once the lazy bums finally awoke...they were so excited and we got a little ready (we stayed in our pajama's) and headed on over to fresh market for some yummy yummy in our tummy.
please...can i have a doughnut?! how can one resist this cute, little, innocent face
so many options
gotta have their own bags...but those faces of happy girls= priceless (don't worry...Nate and I got one too but Nate didn't get to eat his until much later since he was at work but it was a nice surprise to come home to)
they are so sweet and grateful for the little things and I too need a little reminder (blessed to have these girls to remind me just of that)
Emery's first pedicure
When summertime roles around, for me it means sunshine, water (lots of), camping, hiking, being outdoors as much as I can...along with pretty painted toes. Well, having 3 girls that means lots and lots of nail polish/remover/cotton balls and 40 toes to paint if you include mine. So the other day (in May) it was a little rainy and I just wasn't in the mood to be outside and we needed something to do (painting toes in our house is quite the task because both Adey and Paisley want to paint their own and makes a mess but they are learning is what I remind myself). So we got out all the things we needed and got to business. I love the creativity the girls come up with (even if it means Paisley paints her toes and takes it off like 3 times before she is finally satisfied).
Here is the finished product:

Emery's first quick road trip

Last weekend (Saturday May 23) we went to attend the sealing of Nate's nephew Tyler to his wife Barbara at the Logan LDS Temple. It was just beautiful and we are beyond happy for them. Afterwards we all (meaning it seemed like 30 or more of us) went out to eat to golden corral. Then Nate, Emery, and I headed up to Idaho Falls, Idaho (we stayed the night with Nate's sister Beverly and I wish I would have taken some pictures because Bev and Emery bonded and it was precious to watch how much love Bev has for her). On Sunday May 24, Barbara and Tyler had their baby Dreason (sp?) blessed and Nate was asked to stand in the circle. It too was a beautiful baby blessing. We also go to see Nate's parents, Nate's sister Jen, and Nate's brothers Dave and Ron on this trip. It was a nice short trip but it was Emery's first trip and she did so well! (Adey and Paisley spent the night with Nana because Malinda and Evan were down from Rexburg visiting and they wanted to be with their cousins. I know they had a great time and were missed as well)
Adey's last day of school
Aw...this little girl has gotten so beautiful, talented, and big! I can't believe this summer she will be 6 and this fall she starts up in 1st grade (she will be gone all day and not have lunch with me or watch a show with during quiet time...yes i get tears in my eyes thinking about it) But I want to give a shout out to Odyssey Charter School for helping Adey find a love for school, learning, and excelling (she finished Kindergarten mastering just about all she needed to except money, received O for outstanding for her grades, making tons of friends and loving her teachers to which she wasn't exactly ready for summer and is sad she won't have her same teachers next year for first grade). I love this little munchkin so much and am so proud of the girl she is becoming!
