not sure why she has her hands all the way in the air...but yes she is doing it all by herself!

I can't believe that day has finally came but yes my little girl who is almost 17 months yet was almost 7 weeks early has been taking a few steps (since Friday) here and there and I couldn't be more proud and dreading it and happy and sad all at the same time.  She has been working so hard and it finally has paid off.  Since all the complications when I found out she was girl with the concerns with her kidneys and stomach to low fluids and admitted three different times and then put on permanent bed rest for 3 weeks to living in the NBICU for 4 weeks and so on as she grew and developed...this little girl is such a fighter and determined.  I learn a lot from her for she has already taught me so much how to be more patient, letting things go, being a kid with two goof girls, and I live to make sure her and her sister are taken care of and enjoy every bump along the road as we all grow and learn as a family of three...these little girls are so special to me and mean everything more than words can describe!  and now that Paisley can walk...watch out cause her we come to explore and have us some more fun!

ZOO date...

So about a week ago my man took me and my girls to the zoo (it was his first time...ever...to a ZOO...just had to throw that in there)!  The weather was perfect and we had a great time!  Can't wait for the next exhibits to be opened next spring and not so much construction!

they just opened up this super cool little jungle park at the zoo...poor Nate had to go down that slide so many times for Adey.  such a good sport

The other night one of my friends brought these over to me because on a walk one night I had mentioned one of my favorite flowers is baby's breath and look what she brought me left over from a flower arrangement she was working on:

two new things going on in our household...

now before this next picture...last night I had given both girls a bath and while Adey was finishing up I got paisley out, lotioned up and ready for bed, blow dryed her hair some, and we were playing in the living room.  i got up to take care of something then I hear Adey laughing so hard and yelling mom come see this...

yep sure enough Paisley managed to get back in the bath tub, clothes and all....and once again so proud of her accomplishment.  All i could do was just laugh and laugh...

first day of snow has arrived...

it may not have stayed long but yes on November 5 we had our first day of snow...not enough to play in but enough for it to be extremely cold and stick to the ground and car for a few hours.  When  we had walked outside Paisley was like "ooohhhh" and Adey wanted to play in it then realized it was too cold...once again gotta love my girly girls!
