Nebraska Birthday Trip

We My parents have been asking for a while what it is I want for my birthday which was in September. But let's face it the older we get the harder it is for me at least to decide what it is I really want. I have my hubby and my kids and my family and that's perfect for me. I knew a lot of my moms family was flying in and my brother was driving up so I decided a plane ticket to see my family who live in Nebraska is just a what I wanted (Emery got to come with me because she flies for free). We had a great time visiting, shopping, eating yummy food at home and out, visiting the zoo, seeing my moms store for the last time since it is now closed, playing games, sewing, laughing and having a great time! I love my family so much and I wish we didn't all live so far away! I will gladly take any trip I can to spend time with them:

Apple Orchard

This year we have enrolled Paisley into preschool and to say she is loving it is such an understatement!  She goes MWF from 12-2:30...she never wants me to walk her (she always asks mom can you just drop me off?).  Such a big girl growing up faster than this mom wants to acknowledge!  So far she has learned primary and secondary colors, days of the week, the seasons and this week they are on letter Dd.  Her teachers (she has 2) helps them learn the sounds and upper and lower case.  Paisley is picking up quickly even though she already knew most of them thanks to the activities we do at home and big sis and start fall and other educational shows we love to watch!

But with it being fall, one of her teaches families owns an apple orchard so last Thursday we got to go for free and learn how apples are picked and processed and got to eat a yummy apple and walk around and play on the tractor.  It was fun and Paisley had a good time (Emery did too...):

Playing some catch up from September

I seriously can't believe as I am writing this blog that September has come and gone.  I literally blinked and when I wake up tomorrow it will be October 1.  Fall is definitely in full force here in Utah.  Our family has been extremely busy that I haven't even had a quick second to put up a blog post this month.  Therefore I am going to do this post all in a nutshell:

Adey has developed a passion/interest for cooking and created these yogurt bites from a go-gurt she has made into globs and put a chocolate chip in the middle followed by some (a lot) of sprinkles.

Paisley has officially started preschool over at Busy Bee's Preschool here in American Fork.  She loves her teachers Mrs. Emily and Mrs. Amber.  They do a great job so far.  She loves show and tell on Wednesdays where they bring something related to the topic they are learning about for the week (ie; secondary colors she took one of her my little ponies, letter A she took her stuff Aurora)

This little one was sick with an extremely high fever the she so kindly passed on to Adey a few days later but look how cute she is even when she doesn't feel well and all the love she gets:

Nate and I were able to go on a date to the Mt. Timp temple.  He is doing a 12 week full time course so we hardly get any date time or even family time because he is gone so much.  However we are blessed for this opportunity that we have been presented and are over half done!
