Gardner Village for Family night

Last night we headed to Gardner Village for family night.  Nate has never been and Adey has been asking to go.  So we got our coasts, grabbed the stroller and headed for a Monday night stroll/walk which is only about 15/20 minutes.  First stop was an early dinner so we grabbed some at Archibalds (I just love their Santa Fe Chicken Salad with corn/black beans/tortilla chips/cheese/pico/chicken/lettuce all sitting in a spinach tortilla shell with ranch dressing and so yummy and I can eat it every time I go and NOT be disappointed but come to think about it I can gonna make it for dinner because it sounds so easy to repeat)..the girls devoured their Macaroni and cheese which is not Kraft but with shells with their home made sauce and Nate got prime rib and shrimp (I think).  Just a yummy place to eat at if you are ever around this part of Utah.

Then we saved most of our sour dough bread for some duck feeding which we always do when we come.  This time Paisley even tried to help feed the ducks and they were gentle and not as many which was kind of nice.

We were hoping to head over to the candy store but didn't realize they are still working on winter hours and closed a little bit before we noticed what time it actually was so we headed back to Archibalds to get some dessert and take it home.  The molten chocolate cake is super yummy but extremely sweet so we all shared 2 btwn the 4 of us although i don't think Nate ate any and so I have another whole one in the fridge for tonight.

After we got our dessert we took a stroll home...perfect weather...great night...yummy food...wonderful company!

family fun day at the park

We LOVE living by so many parks!  A great way to get some fresh air, having fun, laugh, giggle, run, and all for FREE:

Roll down my windows and cruise...

The weather around here just keeps getting nicer and nicer (a little too soon...but I love warmer weather but the summer dryness won't like it this year or next...meaning sad to say some fires may be in the near future from the lack of snow/rain we have yet to get much of).  But with warmer weather and the bright yellow sun means...SUNGLASSES and some wind in the face with those windows rolled down and some country music in the back round...yes this is the life:

Chuck e Cheese with NATE

We have been wanting to do something together as a family on a Saturday for some while now...it is still a little cold to do it outside so hiking, the zoo, walking the river, things like that are out...so this particular Saturday I happened to have a bag full of coins and another bag full of vouchers for previous won tickets to Chuck e cheese so this where we ventured and had a great time.  The girls had over 1300 tickets to spend and of course was spent on my little pony cards, princess crown, play jewelry, and what better than candy...my hard earned money...just kidding.  We had a great time and it wasn't crowded and it was just nice to be out with no worries in the world:

aw...look at that cute little face!

Valentines

I have never been a big fan of Valentines day because every day we should express our love to those we are grateful to have in our lives.  I do however never give up an opportunity to buy a little something for my three special loves in my life (but I don't do all that candy stuff...I always like to get meaningful stuff)...this is our first of my many Valentines together:

Nate loves monsters (which I was nervous I would buy the wrong kind...he only drinks them every once in a while but now he has a little stock), peanuts, chewing a half piece of gum (it lasts so much longer), and educational movies...the caramello was just a little something sweet for his teeth

Paisley got a little bling (ring pops), cheetos, and some mini m&m's...and of course a little toy because right now she is big into baskets, purses, bags...anything she can put stuff in and carry it around.  We have had many little picnics already and they are fun with an almost 2 year old

Adey got a little bling too (ring pop), cheetos, m&m's, and she loves chewing gum...and her big thing right now is any thing crafty (paper, paint, beads, ribbon, stickers...anything)...so she got a bead set and has been busy away at making all kinds of bracelets for herself and her sister mainly but don't be surprised if you get a bracelet here soon crafted by the lovely Adelynn

I think in all my little Valentines and my man were all pleased and felt special this day as they should always feel!

As for me...Nate surprised us with some yummy BW (Buffalo Wild Wings...which is amongst my top 5 places to eat from...usually I don't like chains but this is an exception to that rule I have) for dinner which happened to be what I was really hoping for on this day of love , he rented us a few movies, and brought me some chocolate and beautiful flowers.

Calla lilies are my 2nd favorite flower after purple roses but he said he didn't see any that would work so he found a bouquet of purple in general...he did good!

Picnic...in doors...anyone?!

The other day Adey pulled in side her little pink table and chairs and brought out her stuffed animals and set them all up and cooked for them and fed them their meals and cleaned their dishes.  it was super cute!  and of course Paisley joined in and Adey called her Adey's lil helper:

We went bowling with Nate and some of his friends in Provo.  This was Paisley's first time and she had so much fun and kept saying ball, ball, ball...Adey had a lot of fun showing her sister how it was done.

Here is Adey at gymnastics...she has such talent and tries so hard!  Sad to have her take a short break until we move and get situated in our new home...hope she still enjoys it and has fun in her new gym:
