Having a little fun in the car. The girls got some special color changing putty to play with. Such a big hit. We also picked out some new movies and fun stickers. The girls did so well in the car. We stopped for dinner at this place in Cedar City called the All American diner...the service was a little slow but they were so busy. The food was delicious and very affordable! One place we wouldn't mind going back to.
looking at the plants and waterfalls at one of the hotels.
We went to New York New York and ate Chicago dogs and New York style pizza...it was yummy. Adey also is obsessed with our country and the American flag...she loved getting to see the statue of liberty.
We went to M&M world and of course bought some over priced candy and souvenirs and we enjoyed the free 3-d movie. Paisley though didn't want to wear her glasses and wasn't quite sure what to think at first. Adey had fun grabbing at all the stuff coming at her!
We loved the dolphins at the Mirage...a little pricey but it was worth it. The little show with their tricks was really fun...even when the dolphin used its fin to splash the whole audience as it went along (it was planned of course but fun to get splashed by a real dolphin). One day it is my dream to swim with a real dolphin...one day I hope it comes true!
the lions and tigers at the Mirage...I hadn't honestly realized really how big these guys all were in real life! I definitely wouldn't want to cross one of them in the wild! I wouldn't stand a chance! We taught Adey that we are meat. So there was a point in the car where Adey was playing with her stuff tiger she got at the gift shop with Paisley who got a stuffed dolphin. Adey's tiger told Paisley's dolphin that it eats meat and to not come near because she eats meat and she would eat her. It was cute! They really have so much fun playing together and get along so well...we love/treasure it for now just in case it doesn't last forever!
So warn out from our first day of fun!
our glorious pull...the water slides weren't open yet for the season but the pool still wasn't too bad. At times it was pretty cold because of the light breeze. But we also enjoyed the hot tubs. We even left with us all adding some to our tan!
showing off their glitter tattoo's. Adey got a neon yellow, black, and sparkly silver paw prints. Paisley got a purple sparkly princess castle. We got these at our resort...the girls loved them!
watching the mermaid show at the Silverton (which I would not recommend...lol)
playing kid games at Circus Circus. We did watch a cool trapeze act with two girls and two boys. They did flips and some amazing tricks. The girls really enjoyed this. The games were a bit much...maybe something to try again when they are a bit older. After we left Circus Circus we went to Disney store outlet and the girls each got to pick out something. Adey got a Merida (brave) bow with arrows and Paisley got an Anna baby from frozen. Then we went back to the hotel for a little night time swimming before the pool closed. We enjoyed some pizza from the hotel restaurant which was pretty yummy too.
The last day at our hotel we enjoyed the day at the pool and just relaxed. We did head to dinner at the Circus Circus buffet which is pretty amazing and large and reasonably priced and food for everyone! Nate did say when we got his salad...why did I waste a plate of salad when there is so much other food to choose from? but he did eat his salad to get his healthy food in...lol.
I forgot to mention one of the days we got raising Cane's chicken which is one of Nate's favorite places to eat and we also eat there when we are in Vegas. Also Nate's old boss from California came over for a visit with his family. It was nice to meet them and hang out (they came swimming with us the one night they were there before they continued on to meet her family in Moab for the kids spring break. his boss though didn't go with his family since he had to work and ended up swimming with us on our last day and went to dinner with us at circus circus)
All in all...great vacation...memories made...got out of town...didn't break the bank! All in all...win win for everyone!
