St. Patrick's Day

This holiday is normally remembered as my Nana"s and my Aunt Sherry's birthdays but this my Nana passed away last year around memorial day so this was our first St. Patrick's day to not call my Nana and send her cards to wish her a happy birthday.  It was a lot harder than I expected!  My Nana was one amazing lady and I miss her so much!  I did talk with my Aunt Sherry though and still remembered it is her birthday too (I know it was even harder for her to celebrate this first birthday without her mom)

So this year I decided to have a little celebration with my girls and Nate all day in her honor.  For breakfast the girls had fruit loops (colors of the rainbow) with green milk all in green dishes.  Then the girls and I did a rainbow art project I found on Pinterest after Adey got home from Kindergarten.  Then for dinner I made cabbage soup and a rainbow fruit plate and a special green drink again all served in green dishes.  It was a nice day with my family and it helped me with the missign of my grandma!
