Keegan is ONE

This little guy just turned ONE!

Keegan still has the most calm and laid back personality out of all of our kids.  He is not the greatest sleeper (he goes in waves but when he is teething he doesn't sleep as good...). He is a little bit picker of an eater than the girls too. But man he sure can melt a heart and is the best snuggler! We sure love this little guy so much! He crawls and climbs, loves the water (baths, swimming, water table, splash pads, sinks, etc...anything water!), takes two naps a day, sleeps about 10 to 11 hours at night (usually straight through), still is nursing 3 to 4 times a day at bed times, loves cars and to be where ever everyone else is. He recently discovered swings and is starting to like them. Some of his favorite foods are water melon, chicken, beans, apple sauce, yogurt, goldfish, graham crackers, pb and jelly, and he loves drinking anything through a straw. He loves to wrapped up in his blanket at bed time with his white noise sound machine on. He really seems to enjoy being read to, "dancing" when there is music on, and wagon rides. We call him explorer bubs as one of his nicknames because he is constantly being curious and exploring this world around him! His other nicknames are k dog, bubba, keegie, keegie bear, baby boy, little man. He doesn't seem to care for our dog and hates being left alone anywhere unless he is asleep. Right now at his first birthday he has 6 teeth...4 on top and 2 on bottom...but we can tell he has more coming in with his smaller appetite and lack of sleeping and fevers and occasional crankiness. He loves to wave good bye or hi...its so cute! He points at anything he wants right now without speaking and i love that! His only word he says right now is momma and its the best. He will mimic sounds he hears but thats about it. He has such beautiful blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair. So far we have felt so blessed to have this little guy and have loved watching him grow to where he is now....the next several years are going to be so fun and new as we watch our only little man change, grow, learn, and become a little gentleman! He has such a special place in this mommy heart and I hope he always knows that!
