Adey turns 13

Oh what to say about Adey… this is her last year before she goes to high school and she is officially a teenager. She did leave the charter school this year and is at the public middle school. It has been an adjustment but she is loving it. She is still such a sweet sensitive kid. She likes to include everyone and she is still one who tells on herself when she does something wrong (she is pretty honest). She also switched dance studios this year and oh my goodness she has grown so much already (this switch was just what she needs to help her get ready to maybe try out for the drill team in the spring which is something she is thinking about doing). When she tried out for a team they asked her to be on a high team that’s two levels up from where last studio. She will compete in 5 comps this year and do 3 dances at each. She is also doing a solo that she earned money for herself. This girl continues to amaze us with her mail talent and she is thinking of going to cosmetology school one day for hair and nails (I think she would be quite good at it). Here’s to another great year for Adey and excited to see it unfold for her!!
