Oh my sweet Emery. You have grown so much this year especially with your academics and speech! They think you might graduate the speech program this December if you keep working so hard! You are almost caught up in math and reading too. Seriously so proud of your hard work, dedication, listening at school and to your teachers! We do miss you being to able to say some words correctly now. Snilk will always be silk. And there are some others I am sure I am forgetting! You are even trying chapter books which is huge for you!
You are a strong, fiesty, caring, cautious, smart, know what you want go getter girl. You amaze us with your talents of dance and tumbling. When you want to learn something knew you have a natural talent and pick up usually pretty easily. We have enjoyed watching you be put on a harder dance team this past year and you running with it and being up with the girls talent. You did so well remembering the dances and competing your first year so proud of yourself and encouraging your team mates. I know this next year will be exciting watching you take on cheer and tumbling while doing a technique dance class on the side. You keep saying you want to try drill in high school like Adey but a break from competing dance will be good for you.
You loved soccer this year and not being on a competition team I think. You even scored some goals. I loved watching you never give up and just keep running so hard. I think your dedication showed and it encouraged some of your other team mates to try so hard.
You are very creative and have a fun imagination Emery and I love that you still like to play like a kid. You love your babies and being their doctor. You love setting up house for your American girl dolls and doing different hair styles for them. You even conquered braiding your own hair and putting it in a pony tail this year. Impressive!
This next year there is lots of fun in store for you Emery. I know you want to try plays at the school, cheer for youth football, possibly graduate speech, want to get your back walk over (I am sure more but for now that's a good goal), going on another cruise, visiting Arizona, and I am sure a lot more. We love you Emery and hope you don't ever lose your determination and go getter attitude! Happy 9th Birthday Emmy, Bert, Ems.
