two new things going on in our household...

such a big girl drinking her milk from her cereal...now we are working on drinking from cups and she is doing quite well

so proud of her accomplishment...which she should be

now before this next picture...last night I had given both girls a bath and while Adey was finishing up I got paisley out, lotioned up and ready for bed, blow dryed her hair some, and we were playing in the living room.  i got up to take care of something then I hear Adey laughing so hard and yelling mom come see this...

yep sure enough Paisley managed to get back in the bath tub, clothes and all....and once again so proud of her accomplishment.  All i could do was just laugh and laugh...

first day of snow has arrived...

it may not have stayed long but yes on November 5 we had our first day of snow...not enough to play in but enough for it to be extremely cold and stick to the ground and car for a few hours.  When  we had walked outside Paisley was like "ooohhhh" and Adey wanted to play in it then realized it was too cold...once again gotta love my girly girls!

all bundled in our car...with her baby (she loves her baby)

my other beauty with her purse full of stuff like her keys, play make up, cell phone...

Pumpkin carving

Two days before Halloween we carved pumpkins with the girls aunts, cousins, and grandparents down in Mapleton.  It was a lot of fun and Adey tried to help carve but mainly helped pull only some of the guts out (she kept saying they are gross and Paisley wouldn't even touch the guts...she kept saying ewwww....)  Gotta love my girls...they are definitely girly...Anyway onto the creations:

her witch pumpkin face...

I traced paisley's foot and hands and made a bat...you have to use your imagination...

I couldn't get her picture with her pumpkin though because she kept pushing it over like it was a ball so...oh well gave up.  gotta love those toddlers?!

my Halloween beauties...

Halloween isn't my favorite holiday but we do celebrate.  We mainly just eat the reeses, twix, kit kats, smarties, and dum dum suckers while everything else gets donated...thinking about this whole witch switch idea of where you put your candy out and a "witch" comes and takes the candy and leaves a small present.  I think its a cool idea because then my kids don't eat a ton of candy and destroy their teeth and then i too don't eat a lot of candy (we are trying to eat healthy and take care of our bodies...)  But on a brighter note...look at my two trick or treaters:

Such a pretty Cinderella

and her glass slippers

my beautiful Lady bug

a rare moment when i can get both girls together and almost smiling...i will take it

so instead of passing out candy this is what we did for Halloween...sad though when we got home someone stole our pumpkin so I sure hope a few kids got to pick a treat before some horrible older kid had to ruin all the fun for the little ones...i really hate how greedy and rude older kids are by the way during this holiday.  ok rant over

Witch hunt at Gardner Village

We always love a good family walk...especially Gardner Village which is just about 1/2 mile or so from our house walking distance depending on the route we take.  but anyway...Around Halloween time we have a tradition to go to Gardner Village a few times for their witch hunt (they set up witches through out their property and just make it super fun...I am thinking next year we will do the challenge and find them all and get the the extremely cheap, yummy, warm chocolate chip cookie because both girls will be bigger).  Anyway...this particular night it was just super cold so we weren't there very long plus didn't take a whole bunch of pictures so we could hurry and head home:

if you look closely you can see one of the many, MANY witches on display

Adey thought this was a cute sign and wanted her pic. by it

ps...when there is so much going on have I mentioned it can be quite difficult to get this beauty to look at the camera

aw...all ready for fall!

blonde hair, blue eyed babe...

This post is dedicated to Miss Trouble...who is just getting way too big!  She is 16 months now...what happened to day 1 in the NBICU?

*She has 4 front teeth and all 4 molars are coming in at the same...sure is fun times?!
*Her favorite books are: itsy bitsy spider, you are my sunshine, llama llama nighty night
*She can say: momma, dadda, adey, nonni, grampy, oskar, nana, papa, please, thankyou, two, five, apples, i pooped, all done, eyes, nose, ears, cheese, juice, night night, hi, bye, no (still working on yes..), mine, baby, woof woof, water, bath, blankie, shoes, choo choo
*She still only crawls (working hard on walking...she does a great job pulling to stand and then letting go and standing for a few seconds...so i am thinking it is coming soon)
*She officially graduated physical therapy for her neck last Thursday (big milestone for us)
*Bath time is a favorite time for us...she loves playing with running water and is learning to blow bubbles in the water
*She loves to dance (I love holding Paisley while we dance to a slow song...she grins and snuggles)
*She is a great snuggler when she wakes up from bedtime and naps...melts my heart
*Sometimes naps are getting harder because she requires about 12 hours of sleep at night to fully function the next day so some days naps are only an hour or up to 3 hours...just depends on the previous night
*She always pulls bows out of her hair...even though she looks so cute!
*Favorite foods: ranch, pizza, pears, chicken, cheese, green beans, yogurt strawberries, cereal, peanut butter and jelly, pasta dishes (especially homemade spaghetti and homemade macaroni and cheese), smarties candies and m&m's
*Bubbles are fun to blow
*She loves to color with anything markers, crayons, pens, CHALK...and especially loves painting!
*She loves to pretend to talk on the phone or feed her baby a bottle or pat her baby to sleep...she has this one baby the gets dragged around to just about anywhere!
*She is most of the time all smiles and giggles and learning to push herself on the little bike and learning to crawl on things (hints the dishwasher invention...sorry she has not clothes...she likes to be this way but with it getting cold it doesn't happen that often)

behind on times...

Well the slow person I can be sometimes, I finally learned how to get pictures off my phone and onto my computer...so I am gonna play catch up with a few fun times we had but didn't know how to retrieve the pics:

So way back at the end of August me and the girls got to a REAL soccer game.  We had fun cheering, singing, learning the players names, and best of all watching our team win.  I don't remember who we played but that doesn't really matter:

At the beginning of September we met Adey and Paisleys cousins and Aunts at Trafalgar square in Lehi for some fun.  We have the pass of all passes so we can get in for free...free activities are always the best!  We did bumper boats, arcade games, glow bowling, and played in the play area:

I really loved her outfit

The end of September I finally (with the permission of her dad) took her to get something she has been begging me to do...just a late birthday present:

pink flowers

Normally while Adey is doing her gymnastics for 45 mins. twice a week Paisley and I go for a stroll...well it is getting colder so we took a short walk and then played in the car...this girl is all smiles like 99.9% of the time:

ready to drive?!  gosh they sure grow up way too fast...
