A Sunday stroll in the park

So we took a walk (the girls both rode their bikes which I think this summer it will be time to teach Adey to ride with training wheels and Paisely to ride a bike with training wheels) and went to the park by our house: (Nate was busy doing something for church)

When we got home it was a perfect time for the one and only popcicles:

These 3 little girls mean so much to me and I am so blessed to enjoy these simple moments with them! I love how they teach me to stop and not be so wrapped up in the world and remember what truly matters, the simple things in life...Adey especially was so proud that she can finally do the monkey bars even if they give her blisters!  She has been working so hard and doesn't give up! Paisley is learning how to pump her legs on the swing and Emery got to ride on the swing on my lap and I think it was even her first or maybe her second time but they both just had so much fun. Oh to be a kid again and live in the moment?!?! This is something I am working on, taking it one day at a time and enjoying all the blessings I have and just living life to the best I can!

Mmmmm....blackberries

Our little girls love the time of year where strawberries and blackberries and grapes and blueberries are out and yummy! They don't last long in our house...just take a look:

We also found this awesome big mesh-like frisby at Walmart for less than $5 I think. Such a great addition to our outdoor toys!

It's a beautiful morning...

Sunshine is among us and it's getting warmer, even in the mornings. The snow is (I hope) officially gone from the valley and just hanging out on the mountain tops. This past Saturday right after breakfast (the tv wasn't even turned on) the girls headed out Tories their bikes and scooters and jump on the trampoline and enjoy the beautiful morning in their pjs, event his little beauty:

Her sisters may have buried her legs and she didn't seem to mind.

After Nate made a yummy Saturday morning breakfast, we got ready for the day and we drove out to our property...YEP you read that right!  We are in the process of building a home (it is 6-7 months out to finish since there are so many being built in this new neighborhood which ends up being the perfect time frame for us).  Details to come. For now this .11 acres of dirt has our name on it:

Then we went to lunch at the jdawgs in Orem which was super yummy and inexpensive for our family (we will be going back some day). Followed by a walk around the mall and the girls loves getting free lotion and spray from Bath and Body Works (we are in trouble for we have some serious girly girls on our hands) and the out on a little fashion show as we waited for Allie to try on clothes:

They bothe felt they needed some of my lip gloss...loved the "kissy" face they both used as they applied it!

As we were leaving the mall, the girls were sooooo tired 😉 so Nate carried them both! What a great daddy!

On our way home we stomped by a place in Provo that used to be called sammies but is now called "zekes" for some gourmet shakes! So yummy but not good for my no dairy kick I am on for my stomach issues....but I have in since I haven't had any dairy for a whole week!  They did not disappoint!

Overall such a fun, easy going day with the family!

First Popsicle

So Emery got her first Popsicle and it did NOT disappoint:

10+10+10= $78????

Adey decided to participate in the read a thon put together by her school.  They were challenged to read for 30 minutes a day for 10 days.  Some went the extra mile for the 10-10-10 challenge which was get 10 sponsors to pledge $10 for them to read for 10 days.  Adey took that farther and ended up raising $156 (thanks to all those who helped her raise that) and so half of that went for her to spend at the Usbourne book fair and the other half went to her school library/classroom for them to get new books. She got quite a few things and even let her sisters get a few things too!

Gooey mess fun

The girls LOVE experiments and making things. The other day Adey has been begging me to make gak. This is what we came up with:

Bridal Veil Falls

On Friday, while Adey was in school and Nate worked from home, Paisley, Emery (who got to ride in the stroller), and I went to hike Bridal Veil Falls with Nate and his sister Beverly and her hubby Aaron and their daughter Allie and her hubby Tyrel.  It was overcast and a little chilly but nice to get out for a little bit and get some fresh air.  Paisley even got to feed some of the fish thanks to Tyrel. Nate and Paisley through some big rocks off the bridge to watch the big splash. Thanks y'all for a nice afternoon!

I am excited for it to get a little warmer and sunnier to go on many more hikes this spring/summer/fall. We made a bucket list of hikes we wanna accomplish so for these Mihu's it's gonna be an adventurous time of year and we can't wait!
