Here is another big family tradition of ours: going to see the lights at temple square. We usually like to ride the train up, eat dinner at the food court, seeing Santa, and lastly walking around temple square where it is super cold and being reminded of the true meaning for the season.

Dance recital for two
Paisley had another dance recital and did so well. She is more in the bigger kid class (6-8 year olds). This girl is getting better at het turns and leaps and can now do a cartwheel. If we let her, she would dance ALL day long! Her teachers are Ms. Abby and Ms. Maddy.
Adey and Abby having fun between shows:
Then Emery had her first dance recital. She is unte youngest in her class but that doesn't stop her from keeping up. She did a mommy and daughter song. Nate has it on his phone. She too just loves dance so much and her teacher Ms. Kristin.
Then we took the girls to dinner afterwards. Nana, Papa, and Olivia came with us:
St. Nicholas Day 2019
Another year has come and gone and St.Nicholas stopped by for a visit. This is a holiday I have celebrated since I was little. I know they celebrate it in Germany and I lived there when I was like 1.5 to 4ish... Its one my kids look forward to. They put their boot by the door and St. Nicholas brings them a small treat and small present if they have been good. Traditions are so fun and memorable...especially this one. I hope my kids carry this tradition on into their own families one day as a big part of their heritage if from Europe!
Ps...our elf Annabelle wanted to see what all the fun was about!

Jeffs 50th Birthday
Nate and I were invited to celebrate Nates xousin, Jeffs 50th birthday. It was at a nice restaurant with great company. We took Keegan but no other kids were allowed. It was quite an enjoyable evening celebrating the birth of a great person!
Utah Mihu Christmas Party
Since we bought a house recently, we decided to host our very first Christmas party with Nates family here in Utah and his parents came too. It is so nice to finally have the space to do this. We had snack potluck, the kids wrote letters to our troops, didnt get to decorate cookies like we haf hoped, but sure did laugh and have a good time with the white elephant exchange for both kids and adults. I love being by family and these guys sure are special to me. Glad we got to have them over to celebrate the holiday season!
