Tribute to Adelynn- the big 7

This little girl is blossoming into a beautiful young lady!  I can't believe she is 7!  I have been a mommy now for 7 whole  years!  She has taught me so much over the years so far and I can only imagine the more I will learn!  She is so sweet, patient, kind, always thinking of others, helpful, crafty and enjoys drawing, loves taking pictures, friendly, enjoys cooking, talented with gymnastics, loveable, knows how to have a good pillow fight, energetic, and more!  I can't believe either that she will be entering 2nd grade this year!  She is so smart and doing really well in school (reading is not her favorite though...nor was it mine either).  I love you bug and all the memories we have made.  Here's to another fun year with you a part of our family!  Keep your contagious smile going for you light up any room you enter!

Adey's tie dye party with friends

This year Adey decided she wanted to invite some friends over for her birthday party to our house and tie dye with them. It was so fun and the girls had a great time:

Her friends: Ophelia, Alyssa, Chloe, Abby, and Makayla were able to come (4 of her friends couldn't come...expected with summertime birthdays)

Slurpee day

On July 11 every year the gas station 7-11 gives away free slurpees. This year we went around 11:45 and there was no line- we were in and out in no time! The girls thought it was cool to get a free slurpee and we need to make sure we go every year cause it's the small things in life that they enjoy! 

play date with friends!

I love when we have friends to hang out with and an added bonus when they have kids close to my kids age.  I didn't get any pictures of Adey playing with the boys but I did get some of these (ps...and there cousins came over to play for a little bit!).  We spent the whole time outside and had a small BBQ and played in water.  The kids had a great time and can't wait to hang out again soon!

Cut em' up letter project

Do you get lots of magazines, mailers, coupons, and store ads in the mail like we do? I had this awesome idea today to let the kids cut letters out and make a project with it. It helps work on fine motor skills with cutting and spelling and letter recognition and we recycle the paper! So I would say it's a Win-win for all!
