Mihu reunion 2016

This past weekend we had our 3rd annual Mihu family reunion (which Nate and I have put on the past 3 years but we get a long break...Melanie and Chip are in charge this next year and I am pretty excited about this!)  We had it in Idaho Falls and everyone was able to come except for Laura and Bruce because they just barely had a big move from Boise to Tuscon to start fresh and new.  They were missed. 

We got there Friday night but forgot a pack and play for Emery to sleep in so we borrowed one from Jeremy and Livia.  We hung out for a few and played the Piano:

This year we had a bridal shower for Beverly's soon to be daughter in law, Shelby, who is marrying her son Jordan:

Nate took the younger two to play with cousins and Jeremy's during the shower and he sent me these pictures while they were away:

Then we grabbed some yummy food at this place that took forever!  literally...it took 26 minutes from time we ordered to the time we got our food:

Then we met some friends and Kimberly's family came with us too and we played at Rigby lake:

Then we had a BBQ at Ron and Tammy's and I need to get those pictures from Paul.  He took some good pictures.  It was fun to hang out and eat dinner and relax and they had a small water fight.

On Sunday we went to church with Beverly and Aaron.  Paisley was excited to have Uncle Aaron as her primary teacher that day.  During one of the classes this is what Emery wanted to do:

Then we went back inside and played with Emery in nursery.  We were so excited that they let us take her in to play because they aren't supposed to until they are 18 months and Emery is almost 15.  Then they told us we could leave her if we wanted and that they had many kids who weren't even 18 months yet and they usually do better than the kids old enough to stay.  So we did and she did great while Nate and I were at Priesthood/Relief Society.  

 After church we went back to Bev and Aarons to relax before the family dinner that night.  The girls had a great time dancing with their cousin Jordan and his fiance Shelby:

Emery took a good long nap which she needed and had been lacking the past few days.  We watched kung foo panda in their awesome TV room which has stadium seating chairs.  Nate did fall asleep for a short time and the other grownups took naps up stairs:

We had a family dinner after everyone was out of church at Jeremy and Livia's.  Paul once again got some great pictures that I will need to get from him.  Especially of the epic water fight!

On the 4th of July a lot of the family went to cave falls for a little hike and picnic and to splash in the water.  It was a lot of fun and I am really glad we went:

We all went home and showered and got ready and then half of the clan went down by the river for the amazing Melaluca firework show.  Someone told Adey they shot off over 17,500 fireworks which I would believe.  It is like a 20 minute show and I am sure they spent a few million on it.  I am also so grateful to those who were to help save spots for us to all sit together and conclude our 2016 reunion:
