Here we go for another exciting school year of mostly back to normal. They get to use the playgrounds and computer labs and check out books, they will have normal hours again and short days on Fridays, field trips and space missions are scheduled, the school got a grant for free breakfast and lunch again for everyone, and to start the year no masks. Emery is in 1st, Paisley is in 4th, Adelynn is in 7th, and keegan is at home with me. Emery is excited to be at school all day and get 4 recesses (1 before school, morning, lunch, and afternoon) and for field trips, Paisley is excited to graduate to the other side of the school and play on the big playground and to get to have more space missions, Adey is excited for a locker and to get to wear middle school polos (meaning she gets to pick whatever color that isn't pink or blue like the elementary colors) and she gets to wear some make up to school. We met all their teachers the other day and they seem great! We love our charter school and they all seemed to have a great day back with friends.
