What a fun time of year when spring is starting to bloom and the pastel colors (or vibrant...which ever you prefer) come out with the season of Easter. This year was a low key Easter for us (we didn't color eggs or do many holiday crafts) but we did go on a few different egg hunts: two put on by our ward, one with Eagle Mountain city where we are building our house and we went a family lunch afterwards, and the bunny filled and hid our empty eggs we left out for him and he filled our baskets with goodies and ate the carrots we left for him. We went to church and had a yummy dinner on Easter Sunday and talked through out the week the true meaning of the holiday (hopefully next year we will get to do somethings from our Easter book from grandma/grandpa Astle). We ended the holiday by going on a fun family walk and played at the park. What a wonderful holiday this is!
