First grade field trip

A special thanks to one of my wonderful "friends" who was able to watch the two younger ones this year so I was able to go with Adelynn on her field trip to the Aquarium.  It was a lot of fun.  I even rode the bus:

Their teacher gave us a yummy snack and we got drinks and used the rest room...then...we were on our way to our first stop which was an educational class with their class (they even got to pet a type of lizard...ick) then we were on our own for the next 1.5 hours to explore and have fun:

some of the girls walked across the bridge:

and we sat on lots of the fake animal statues:

And we tried to pet some sting ray and jellyfish but they were quite stubborn and didn't really come close enough for us to touch:

Then we went to where there were turtles, fish, sharks, and sting rays over our heads and all around us which was quite cool:

And of course we had to explore "Utah" land with the arches and found some birds and otters and other fish that live in our beautiful state:

And the jellyfish room was quite cool and the girls even laid on the floor and pretended to swim in the water like picture they portrayed:

And we ended it by playing on the Orca's and petting another creature:

It was a fun trip and so glad I got to go and just spend time with Adey!
