Paisleys baptism

Paisley turned 8 this year and with that she chose to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  This baptism was not like our last with Adey. This one was done covid style. She was allowed to invite 20 people total (Nate, Me, Adey, Emery, Keegan, Josh, Stacy, Nana, Papa, Aunt Clarissa, Olivia, Aunt Kimberly, Uncle Stephen, Clara, Avery, Jeff, Rowan, Grandma Karla, Grandpa Jack, Emma) and she had her own section for us to sit in. She was baptized with 2 other boys. Her Aunt Clarissa led the music, the primary president gave a talk and then we as a family went to watch her be baptized. We were able to share it through zoom meeting. Nate baptized her and then we went to her own room for her confirmation which her Papa asked to give (Nate, Bishop Morris, Grandpa Jack, Uncle Stephen, and Jeff all stood in the circle). It was such a special ceremony and she received some lovely thoughtful gifts (necklace, bath bomb, money, memory cards, and a few other fun things). After the ceremony and lots of pictures, we went back to our house for a brunch. Some came back to celebrate and some came later in the day and on Sunday to congratulate and we had a nacho bar and Dutch oven to share. I hope its a special day she will always remember and the spirit that was felt and all that love her was there to support her.
