4th of July

So for weeks or even months now Nate and I have been panning to take the girls to see the beautiful fireworks over the snake river. In Idaho Falls, Melalueca puts on this big extravaganza (I saw it a few tubes when I was a student at BYU-Idaho and loved it....something to always to look forward to). Well Nate has so much family around in both Utah and Idaho so we tried to get who could come from Utah to come up with us and stay at the different houses and have fun celebrating America's birthday together. It was a fun weekend filled with:

The traveling...

I love how this one turned out

Then we picked up grandma and grandpa to tag along

Grandma and with our girls...so blessed

stretching her wee little legs out

Then a BBQ at Ron's with his family, Jeremy/Livia's family, Tina/Robert's family, Ma/Pa, and Jen...

Playing a game that Jasmine made up

Andrew the photobomber

these two...trouble!  catching up on their clash of clans

the kids all enjoyed this swing

eating dinner

Paisley shared her cheeto's...gotta love those cheesy fingers!

Then we headed to the Idaho Falls parade with Bev and her family, Ma/Pa tagged along

aw...i sure love this man!

Kaitlyn was in the parade for ballroom dancing

She abandoned her float...we feel so lucky

waiting to catch some candy

cool train in the parade

Playing with Jordan

Then we had a BBQ at Bev's with her family, Ma/Pa, and Jeremy/Livia's family along with some swimming and movie watching (in their movie theater room...AWESOME)

Allie made this awesome watermelon monster

grape fingers

watching princess and the frog in the movie room

needing a little rest time

Paisley played with this as her pet outside of the pool

a great family!

yummy carrot cake from Ron and Tammy

Then we headed to the river for some fireworks (right by the Idaho Falls Temple):

Beautiful waterfalls

just waiting...come on 10pm...

I may have cried during the National Anthem...I am so blessed to live in this country with our freedoms.  I am so grateful for all those who have fought for our country (my dad, my brother, my grampy, my nana...and many other friends parents and other relatives)...I love the 4th of July!

just part of the group mesmorized by the beauty...Paisley kept clapping and oohhhhing and awwwing and getting so excited.  She called them her stars.  Adey sat with her cousin Abby (honestly we are so glad all of girls did so well...the night before Bev and her family set off fireworks in their backyard
and Adey cried and had a very hard time with...all day on the 4th we kept debating on whether or not to stay by the river or go farther away or watch from the car.  We really wanted the experience so nervous parents Nate and I were we bit the bullet and just stayed and we were not at all disappointed because it was a memory and our girls LOVED it)

Getting ready for church the next day...

someone was a little tired

Adey drawing everyone a picture of the temple during sacrament meeting

The drive home...a fun filled memorable weekend!
