Happy Easter 2013

So this Easter the bunny brought us my mom...It was so nice to have her here for this Holiday...not only was it Easter but Paisley was also blessed (finally) by her Papa.  It was a beautiful blessing and I am so grateful for all those that came and helped support her and me and Adey....I felt very loved.

Adey was worried that the bunny wouldn't find Nonni but when she awoke boy was she surprised to see we all had a some small treats from him.  The night before we put out some carrots for him and Adey said we had to make sure we also included some ranch because in her words "no one can eat carrots without ranch" (gotta love little kids minds).

Anyway, after baskets and eggs we got ready for the blessing and headed to Mapleton for a nice luncheon for Paisley's special day and then the blessing and took a few pictures (I need to get those copies and take some nice ones of my own) and then came home and mom made a very nice and yummy dinner (I love her cooking...feel spoiled when she comes to visit)...we had ham, home made scalloped potatoes, green beans, salad, and sparkling kids drink.  and for dessert a yummy pumpkin/blueberry bread.

all in all...a nice relaxing holiday making memories.

Anyway so we did and then told Adey she had to go to bed so then we could go to bed so then the bunny could come fill and hide our eggs ( a little tradition I have done since Adey actually started hunting eggs and will continue it forever because it is fun).  When she awoke the next morning the bunny had hid all the eggs, ate some carrots but not all because he got full and hid the baskets (a new but fun tradition I am gonna do from now on).  Adey had a good time looking for her basket as well as hunting eggs and opening them to find her surprises.  I also started another small tradition because I hate making holidays all about presents so if it doesn't fit in the basket then the girls won't get it.

Paisley's basket was hidden in her high chair

what a big sissy helping her with her basket

Adey's basket was hidden on my shelf and she needed a little help to get it down
